The stunning garden designed by Gaynor Withard and built by Brett Approved Installers, Alfresco Landscape & Gardens were awarded a Silver Gilt Medal, for the garden titled 'Off the Shelf'. The contemporary urban garden, was inspired by our desire to bring design to people who may not have a large budget or space, demonstrating that using ‘off the shelf’' materials and planting readily available at builders merchant and garden centre’s can create a space which is as inviting as one that contains bespoke or hard to find products.
Llandaff North Residents Association Chairman, Stephanie Wilkins worked with the Cardiff Council to produce the beautiful communal garden, scooping a Silver medal. The titled ‘A Growing Community Garden’ was created using Brett Landscaping block paving Alpha Antique in Silver Haze and Charcoal. Brett Landscaping donated products as part of the ‘Love your Landscape’ scheme, which helps communities, come together and enjoy outdoor spaces. Brett Approved Installers, Broxton and Morruzi Ltd, created the fantastic ‘Regeneration’ garden, being awarded a Silver Gilt Medal. The installers are not new to the RHS Cardiff Show, winning an award at the 2011 show. The garden was made largely from reworked waste materials mostly generated during landscaping, such as pallets, waste slate from the production of roof tiles, rusted drainage grates, logs and wood chip saved from garden clearances and broken tools.
