McGee And Brett Join Forces To Provide A State-Of-The-Art Recycling Centre

Specialist contractor McGee and Brett Aggregates recently announced a partnership to provide a state-of-the-art demolition recycling centre in West London.

Specialist contractor McGee and Brett Aggregates recently announced a partnership to provide a state-of-the-art demolition recycling centre in West London to fulfil ever-increasing recycling and waste management needs for the construction industry.

The recycling centre, located in Hithermoor (J14 of the M25), West London, sees McGee and Brett pool their resources and expertise to provide the industry with an extensive recycling operation.

A significant investment in specialist recycling plant and machinery has been made which can segregate, treat and recycle demolition arisings.  All waste brought to the facility is recycled providing a variety of high quality specifications.

The move extends McGee’s and Brett Aggregates’ recycling and material management capabilities by providing a dedicated and wide-ranging service to manage demolition arisings from London construction sites and to support new developments.

Daniel Haw, Sales Manager for Brett Aggregates, commented: “We have a great working relationship with McGee and we see this venture as combining McGee’s reputation as a specialist contractor with our ability to provide quality products. The increased volumes through the site allows us to offer consistent, high quality recycled products to our customers throughout London and the Home Counties.”

The two companies have formed a very strong relationship over many decades; working together to deliver effective solutions at a number of prestigious contracts in London including major works at Wimbledon All England Tennis Club, Heathrow Airport and most recently Battersea Power Station.

John McGee, Director, said: “It is important to us to minimise the amount of material sent to landfill. Close collaboration with Brett allows us to maximise the amount of material that can be recycled and back-load trucks to construction sites which delivers transport efficiencies, saving costs and helping to reduce environmental impact.”
