Brett 110 - Library Garden Restoration

John Osmond, Senior Team Leader for Brett Landscaping at Building Products site at Cliffe recently joined other volunteers to help restore the Marling Cross Library Community Garden back to its former glory. The garden had been unattended for some time after Michael Reeves, an elderly volunteer, sadly passed away.

The work party was held on Sunday 28th July with the aim of having the garden ready for the Marling Cross Library Garden Party and Community Day on Thursday 1st August.

Once the restoration was complete the garden was used at the event for face painting, stalls and other games. The day went really well and they were very appreciative of the help given by John and the rest of the team.
