Brett Aggregates has been working closely with Jackson Civil Engineering on the construction of a contractor compound for Connect Plus, which is being built in preparation for the commencement of work on HS2, the UK’s new high-speed rail network.
Brett supplied over 12,000 of material into the site, which is located between Junctions 16 and 17 of the M25, near Gerrards Cross. This included 6,000 tonnes of Class 1A, shingle, 2,000 tonnes of Type 1 recycled, crushed material and 1,500 tonnes of Type 1 Primary. Among the works carried out at the site were the building of access roads from both the northbound and southbound carriageways of the M25, which will facilitate the construction of the main HS2 project.
Brett Aggregates Sales Manager for London and the Home Counties, Daniel Haw comments: “Our teams have clearly built a strong working relationship, I hope to see our two companies working together again on future projects.”
