The Mineral Products Association has developed a virtual quarry website that provides an interactive experience for youngsters and a substantial resource for teachers. The virtual quarry is staffed by a team of animated characters who talk you through the rock production process. Along the way you can take the wheel of the rock delivery truck as it heads back to the quarry, blow up rock, examine fossils and transform an old quarry into a nature reserve.
