'Poppy Tuck' Support For The Royal British Legion

Granite Products has shown its support for the Royal British Legion by branding one of its mixer trucks on the island with the charity’s logo and messaging.

The Royal British Legion provides financial, social and emotional support for members and veterans of the British Armed Forces and their families. The charity’s annual Poppy Appeal is its largest source of revenue and Granite Products’ eye catching truck, along with its driver, Gary Vibert, played a part in this year’s fundraising efforts on the island of Jersey.

On Friday 8th November, Gary and his Royal British Legion-branded truck supported a group of Chelsea Pensioners who were fundraising in St Helier’s Royal Square, then on Saturday 9th, they could be found outside the St Aubin Parish Hall, helping to raise awareness and collect donations for the charity. On Remembrance Sunday, Gary took the truck to Le Braye for the start of a charity bike ride across the island, before moving on to St. Mary to attend the traditional service of Remembrance.
