Brett 110 - Romney Marsh Day Centre Christmas Fayre

The Romney Marsh Day Centre and Rehabilitation Unit offers services to the over 55s in the local community helping them to remain independent and living in their own homes for as long as they choose. The charity provides a community hub for people to stay connected, help with maintaining health and wellbeing, rehabilitation and sometimes just a hot meal for those who are struggling to provide for themselves.

Steve Wimble, Quarry Supervisor at Lydd spent his volunteer day helping out at the Christmas Fayre, which raised funds of over £1500 for the charity. Steve also made a donation of £110 as a part of the volunteering initiative to mark the Brett Group's 110th year.

Jon Wilson the Charity's Director thanked Steve for all his help and commented, "This donation was a most generous gesture and very much appreciated. Thank you for supporting the Romney Marsh Day Centre".
