Brett To Host SEQLG Awareness Day

Brett Aggregates will be hosting a Safety and Health Awareness Day (SHAD) for the South East Quarries and Landfill Group (SEQLG) at Queen Mary Quarry on September 12th.

Groups of delegates will visit several parts of the quarry and take part in workshops and presentations on a variety of topics which are expected to include: Working at Height, Fault Finding, Guarding and Lock Out, Confined Spaces, Mobile Plant, First Aid, Manual Handling, Working on or around Water and Occupational Health – Respirable Crystalline Silica.

“The SEQLG SHAD is a significant event in the South East region calendar and has the support of the HSE,” says Operations Manager, London and Home Counties, Gary Langton, who will be leading the event. “It will also include a second day specifically for Brett personnel, special guests and regular contractors.”
