Brett 110 - A Helping Hand For Rescue Centre

Ben Gosden, Quality Control Technician at Brett Aggregates spent his volunteering day helping out at the Happy Endings Rescue Centre in Faversham, Kent.

The centre provides long-term care for a variety of animals such as emu's, chickens, meerkats, parrots, owls, dogs and cats. Whilst the centre aims to rehome many of the dogs and cats most of the animals stay there for the rest of their lives, so there is a growing demand for food and volunteers to help maintain the pens.

Ben helped the centre by cleaning pens, preparing food and feeding the residents. He commented “It was a fun day and I aim to take my son there on their next open day”.
