Brett Aggregates Sponsors Chertsey Agricultural Show

Working within the local community is an important part of the Brett approach, and we are once again proud to have recently worked with the Chertsey Agricultural Association in sponsoring this year’s Chertsey Agricultural show.

The show is the only remaining agricultural show within the M25 and Over the years it has developed into a day out for all the family; an opportunity for people who live in towns and cities to re-connect with our countryside. 

The annual event is spread across two days, putting on display the wonders of the countryside by presenting a range of different farm and domestic animals including livestock competitions featuring cows, goats, pigs, and sheep, as well as horse jumping and dog agility courses. horticultural and floral art competitions which displayed extra large vegetables and intricate flower displays to be judged. 

At this year’s show Brett Aggregates sponsored the young herdsman class , a class of the cattle show in which children aged 14 and under were able to show off their prize cattle to be judged based on areas such as coat quality and overall condition, with the winner from the U14s class being presented with the Brett Aggregates Shield.
