Over £200k Raised Through Ziggurat Bike Ride

The annual Ziggurat bicycle ride, organised by the UK charity Action Medical Research, took place in September and raised over £200k, which will go towards research into childhood diseases, such as premature birth, epilepsy, scarlet fever, cerebral palsy and brain cancer.

The charity holds a variety of events to help raise funds and support research, with the annual Ziggurat ride being the construction industry’s opportunity help raise money and awareness – this year the Ziggurat event saw around 60 riders from across the construction industry cycle a challenging 300 miles from the UK to France in four days, which started at the Epsom Downs Racecourse and finished in Reims, France.
