Case Study for Woodbridge County Primary School - Suffolk

Brett Plant and Earthmoving were employed by R G Carter to carry out this 'cut and fill' contract, as a result of the relationship we have with this contractor. 

 

Part of the new Woodbridge County Primary School construction involved raising the level of the sports/playing field.  Topsoil was carefully excavated over the site area and deposited to the storage bunds for later re-use.  The reduced level dig and excavations for the building and hard standing areas then took place with the soils raised used to raise the level of the sports/playing fields. 

 

 

On completion of the filling exercise and re-contouring, the topsoil was excavated from the stockpile, placed to the new sports field and trimmed.
