Client: Rank Hovis Location: Isle of Thanet, Ramsgate Value: £40,000 + other minor works The contract, completed in 2003 for Rank Hovis, involved the laying of reinforced concrete slabs, over the existing surface of broken tarmac, to provide a turning circle for the large Grain Tankers. The contract was carried out over 2 phases, at the request of the client. Since completion of the main works Provian Surfacing have since returned to complete HSE works including ducting and cabling works for the traffic light signalling system along with resurfacing to these areas, concrete lorry ramps for loading the tankers and most recently resurfacing works to the site entrance.
