Client: AMEC Design & Project Services Location: Singlewell, Gravesend Value: £3.2m Completion: April 2007 A new infrastructure maintenance depot, built as part of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) has been recently completed by Provian Construction. The £3.2m project involved all drainage and foundation works as well as creating structural floors for 2 buildings. One will enable the inspection and repair of the CTRL infrastructure maintenance rail fleet whilst the other provides office facilities and workshops. The works included the creation of a new access road, car park and all pavements as well as finishing with a combination of block, concrete slab and black top surfaces.
