Client: Paula Carr Trust Location: William Harvey Hospital Value: £0.5 million Form of Contract: JCT Intermediate with Current Amendments Actual Contract Duration: 24wks Year of Completion: 2005 Provian Construction completed the new build Diabetes Centre within the grounds of the William Harvey Hospital for the Paula Carr Trust. Cut and carve works levelled the ground for the steel framed building with truss roof construction. A brick and block skin gave the building near hospital specification. The contract included high specification internal fit out to include laser and eye testing rooms, administration offices, consulting rooms and storage. The loft to the building was constructed with future use in mind Externally 6No. ambulance bays were formed to complete the facility.
