Provian Construction is firmly establishing a reputation as one of the South East's leading, award winning contractors in the education sector. Having secured the £20 million refurbishment of Herne Bay High School as one of only four Kent BSF contractors, Provian is helping to shape learning facilities across the county. With a substantial and proven expertise working within busy schools and colleges on new build, refurbishment and Design & Build contracts Provian has completed 22 major education contracts and 2 student accomodation blocks with a further 2 currently under construction. Provian have most recently been commendated for the construction of Phoenix Community Primary School winning Ashford Borough Council's award for 'Best Educational Building' in the Building Design and Construction Awards 2010.
From all weather sports pitches and sports halls to major learning resource centres and classroom blocks a number of prestigious schemes have been completed to date. These include the region's first ever Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) in Whitstable on a 24-week fastrack programme. Following this a second CoVE was completed in 2006 at Herne Bay High School where Provian Construction had previously completed a learning resource centre and gym extension three years earlier and are now on site once again as part of Kent BSF.
