Broadband Internet Access
High bandwidth is required to run Picturethis. If you are
using a modem or have a slow connection this
application may freeze or lock up.
Screen Resolution
Your screen resolution set to 1024 x 768 pixels, with
16 bit colour (minimum) and 32 bit colour
(recommended). To find out how to change your
resolution select your operating system below...
> Windows 2000
> Windows XP
> Windows Vista
Browser Issues
You will need the Macromedia Shockwave 8.5 plugin.
You will be prompted to download this if you don't
already have it installed when you launch the
application. Ensure that you follow the installation
instructions all the way through. You may also be
prompted to install three additional files before you can
run the application.
Picturethis uses pop-up windows, only to provide useful
help information about the application. If you have a
pop-up blocker enabled, we recommend that you disable
this function before accessing Picturethis. If you choose
not to do this and then use the Help system, you will be
prompted to reload the application and you will lose any
information you have already entered.
AOL uses its own internet brower and some version are
not compatible. To correct this problem, please download
the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser and follow the
on-line instructions. You will still be able to use the AOL
browser.
