Brett Concrete has won the prestigious MPA British Ready-mixed Concrete Association's 2011 'Excellence in Customer Service Award' for their work on the East Kent Access Project.
The BRMCA presented the award to Chris Chapman, Managing Director of Brett Concrete at the Concrete Society's annual awards ceremony held at the Landmark Hotel, London.
'The award aims to recognise those ready-mixed conrete companies who have gone that etra mile in providing an efficient and professional services.'
Brett Concrete supplied varous specifications of concrete to the East Kent Access project which is a joint venture between VolkerFitzpatrick and Hochtief. In total concrete volumes in excess of 27,000m3 were delivered to varous structures.
We have worked closely with the main contractors at every stage of the project to ensure timescales are met, mixes correct and good communication established in order to deliver what is believed to be the longest jacked structure in the world with minimum disruption to high speed trains.
