Charity Support

In addition to supporting our own local communities, Brett Landscaping & Building Products has, for the first time, decided to support a national charity throughout 2006. This year we will be supporting The British Heart Foundation through a series of events, fund raising and Gift Aid.

So why support the BHF?

Every two minutes, someone in the UK has a heart attack – nearly half of those people die.
Every year in the UK, 238,000 people have their lives cut short by heart disease - making Heart Disease the UK’s biggest killer.

 

Thanks to the work of the BHF, more people who have heart disease are now living longer. However, this means there are now more than 2.5 million people in the UK living with coronary heart disease – generating a growing need for rehabilitation and care.
BHF-funded research has led to countless life-saving breakthroughs in diagnosis, prevention and treatment. Our specialist nurses, care programmes and healthy living initiatives have all improved the quality of life for many people.

 

Community Support

Every year Brett Landscaping & Building Products focuses on helping its local communities in Cliffe, Sturry, Faversham & Lydd in Kent, Chipping Campden in Gloucestershire and Barrow upon Soar in Leicestershire.

From donations to local cub and scout groups to theatre trips for disadvantaged children and support for junior sports teams, we are pleased to continue to be involved with our local community.
