The Use of Special Kerbs in Highways and for Public Transport - CPD

 

Demands on today’s roads present many problems for highways engineers. The presentation will look extensively at the use of Trief® re-directional kerbs (containment kerbs) in solving many common problems that arise, safely and efficiently.

 

Kassel kerbs are used extensively in bus stations and on-street bus stops to form the vital interface between the bus and the boarding point. This presentation will consider not only the use of this product, but also aspects of design for the whole bus stop or bus, tram or coach terminus.
