A. It is advisable to work to a budget to ensure that there are no surprises and you can enjoy the finished project. When deciding on a budget it is worth remembering the following
• Installation costs are around 80% of the total cost, whichever product you choose. So you can upgrade to a premium product to achieve the best results with relatively little extra cost

Q. How can I ‘see’ what my new driveway will look like?
A. By using Picturethis you can visualise your driveway in minutes using our interactive web-based programme. Upload an image or choose one from the gallery, select the area you want to change and then select different products to give you a picture. You can also add in lights, kerbs and edgings too.

Q. We have a lot of rain in our area- what product would you recommend
A. Brett has developed T-Flow, a permeable concrete block paving product designed to help draw water through the paving. It has a unique patented design. However, it is vital that you seek a professional contractor to advise you on the best way to handle excess water.

A. High pressure washers and de-icing salts are not recommended. Proprietary liquid cleaning, de-icing agents and concentrated pool chemicals should be used with care, as some products may cause bleaching.

Q. Can I use salt to de-ice my patio?

A. We do not recommend the use of de-icing salts to remove ice or snow from your patio during freeze/thaw conditions as the salt can affect the durability and the look of the our decorative paving. We suggest that you use a stiff broom or plastic shovel to remove any ice or snow. The concrete will not be susceptible to the action of frost, ice or snow under normal conditions.

A. Yes. However, we suggest that you follow the manufacturers instructions carefully. Do not use on a high pressure or for a prolonged period as you may damage the surface of the paving. Always undertake a small trial first on an inconspicuous area to assess the performance before cleaning the whole patio.
