Our Group Safety Health and Environment Policy

Brett Group employeesAll our people are trained to understand our health and safety policies and to put them into practice every day; we are sincere about these issues and serious about our responsibilities.

Over the last eighteen months, all managers have been put through IOSH training (The Chartered Institute of Occupational Safety & Health). We aim to make all Brett workplaces free from injuries and occupational ill health and every year we come closer to this target by developing business-specific improvement plans.

Site Safety

The Brett Group has been working hard to achieve one of the lowest accident rates in the industry.

In 2007, we achieved our lowest ever annual RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrence Regulations) rate of 16, compared to 28 in 2003.

This is a tremendous achievement, which demonstrates everyone's commitment to reducing accidents to our goal of 'zero'.
