New Cycle Path

27/10/2011

May this year saw the opening of the Great Stour Way, part of National Cylce Route 18.  This route runs West from Canterbury, via Ashford and Tenterden, to Royal Tunbridge Wells, giving people access to the Stour Valley and to the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Brett agreed to allow the cycle path to run through its land along the Great River Stour between Wincheap and Chartham Mill, which includes a bridge over the river.
