The Brett Group has been presented with the biodiversity award by the Mineral Products Association for its overall commitment to biodiversity & nature conservation.
Brett were also commended for the restoration of Park Lodge in Buckinghamshire and highly commended by Natural England for biodiversity demonstrated in the restoration of Villa Quarry in Essex.
The MPA Biodiversity Commitment Award was presented to Bill Brett by Nigel Jackson, Chief Executive of the MPA, who, commenting on this and the award by Natural England, said, "Villa Quarry is a brilliant example of Brett Group's keen efforts to promote biodiversity. Although the site is a fairly small one, it has delivered substantial wildlife benefits".
