Civil Engineering

With over 40 years experience we continue to expand and strengthen our Civil Engineering services in the South East of England.  We have a long working history and have built strong relationships with Kent County Council, Local Authorities, SEEDA, Pfizer, Edf Energy, Health trusts and transportation clients including Ports and Airports.  Our expertise includes infrastructure, enabling, coastal defence, environmental improvement, ground works and structural concrete works, both large and small scale.

Infrastructure Works

We have extensive experience of all infrastructure works including car park construction and resurfacing, highway construction and reconditioning, access roads, roundabouts and junction improvements, retaining walls, hardstandings, kerb realignment, cycleways and footpaths.

 

 

Coastal Defences

Working within the unpredictable coastal environment we have developed an expertise for sea wall and promenade construction, outfall works and walkways.  Our Earthworks department specialises in material movement such as beach replenishment and rock armour works.

 

 

Environmental Improvements

We undertake specialist improvement and restoration works to environmental areas including parks, nature reserves, river frontage and collieries.  Particular experience includes refurbishment of existing buildings, machinery, park furniture and monuments, site clearance, replanting, lake dredging, footpaths, walkways and signage.

  

Groundworks & Enabling Works

One of our traditional areas, we undertake all drainage, ducting, cabling and piling works.  Our enabling works experience includes diversion of services, drainage and construction of new infrastructure such as access roads and car parks to prepare sites for further development.

 

 

Construction & Refurbishment

For specialist buildings such as Substations, Waste Handling and Recycling facilities, large Industrial Factories and Processing Plants our Civil Engineering team completes construction, refurbishment and adaptation works to upgrade facilities and prepare for the installation of high specification machinery.  

  

Small Works

Linking with our Civil Engineering and Surfacing services we offer a Small Works service which allows us to fulfil the needs of our clients for smaller scale, minor civil engineering contracts, including works for private clients, such as driveways, playgrounds, footpaths and hardstandings.
