The construction of a new single storey Vocational Skills Centre at Herne Bay High School is the second major project carried out by Provian Construction here at the school; the first being a £1m Learning Resource Centre and gym extension completed in 2003. The centre is focused on media studies and includes IT Suites, classrooms and a 'State of the Art' 48-seat cinema (pictured below right)

"The new Vocational Centre was handed over (on Tuesday) to a high standard, on time and with only minor and relatively few snags. The school are delighted with the outcome and Kent County Council representatives have described the building as 'excellent'."
