Substations

Within this sector we have developed a close working relationship with Edf Energy completing 3 substations for them in recent years.  Expertise here includes compound formation, reinforced concrete Transformer bases, Switch House construction, brick blast walls and all associated external works such as access roads and landscaping.

 

The station at Herne Bay was a vital development to serve the Kentish Flats Offshore Wind Farm where Provian Construction were involved in laying the 3 sub-sea cables in the tidal zone area.
