James Giles

James has spent the majority of his working life in the concrete and quarry industry.

Following a brief spell with a local asphalt producer, James joined ARC (later becoming Hanson) during which time he held various posts over a 19 year period. These included Concrete Technician, Internal Sales Coordinator, Minimix Manager and District Sales Manager.

James joined Brett Concrete in 2005 as Field Sales Manager for the South Essex region, based in Basildon and has since managed and overseen the growth of 3 ready mix plants.

James has been married 16 years and has two daughters aged 10 and 13. James enjoys bike riding and walking in the country with his family, listening to and playing live music and reading Terry Pratchett novels.
