PRACTICAL BLOCK PROVIDING A DISCREET HARD AND DURABLE SURFACING FOR GRASSED AREAS

The cleverly designed, economical and attractive Sigma range is an excellent choice for areas where grass can be worn away by high levels of vehicular or pedestrian traffic.

 

The open block design forms a continuous hard surface whilst still allowing grass to grow through. This provides a practical surface with a long life, suitable for car and caravan parks, industrial and agricultural environments and well used garden areas where prolonged heavy duty trafficking does not occur.

 

Sigma should be laid on a 30 to 40 mm regulating laying course of screeded, uncompacted sharp sand over a 200 mm suitably well compacted granular sub-base.The voids should be filled with a good quality topsoil containing suitable grass seed. Sigma blocks have a characteristic transverse strength equal to 4.5 KN.
