Walthamstow Bus Station

The grand unveiling of the new Walthamstow Central Bus Station took place in June 2005, the culmination of a major £6m building project. The new, larger bus station now accommodates all the routes serving the area and improved the interchange with rail services. New seating areas, toilet facilities and refreshments kiosks were also incorporated. Brett Concrete supplied 19,000 m3 of concrete to the first stage of the project. The second stage will see the construction of restaurants - and a bowling alley - together with further landscaping.
