Aggregates Teams up with Provian to Benefit Farmers

For farmers, the ability to irrigate land is vital and reservoirs are a significant asset that Brett Group is increasingly working with local landowners to deliver. Brett Aggregates enlisted the help of Provian Construction to complete an 80 million gallon reservoir for farmers at Bentley in Essex.
Once the extraction of ballast was completed, Provian carried out the final stage of engineering work including lining the former quarry with London blue clay.
The reservoir will benefit both the farmer landowners and local wildlife - its design includes a ‘pond’ area to ensure that fluctuating rainfall results in minimal disruption to wildlife environments.
