Brett is closely involved in the communities in which it operates with regular community liaison activity. Brett people also give their time and effort for a range of community projects.
At the end of their commercial life, quarries can be transformed into secure environments. With correct planning, design, construction and management, they can offer a great opportunity for sport, recreation and education for large sections of the community. Our work at the Church Lammas site featured below is a good example of what can be achieved.
Working in collaboration and consultation with government, the disabled and also with wildlife and industry organisations, Brett has proved that once quarrying work comes to an end, attractive and accessible open spaces for all can be achieved.
